Dr. Susan Hill, Ph.D., ABSNP, LSSP

Dr. Susan HillDr. Hill has conducted child-related assessments in various capacities since 1994. She has been in private practice since 2001, specializing in psychoeducational assessments for children, ages 6 to 22 years old, and consulting with private and public schools in Dallas and surrounding areas. She also provides assessment for student-athletes at the university level.

Prior to private practice, she worked in school settings (e.g. Highland Park Independent School District), as well as hospital/clinical settings (e.g. UT Southwestern Medical Center). In addition, Dr. Hill has conducted testing for a variety of research projects.

Dr. Hill obtained a post-doctoral certification in School Neuropsychology, a Ph.D. in school psychology from Texas Woman's University, an M.S. degree in Human Development and Early Childhood Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a B.A. degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University.

Kathy Davis, M.Ed., CALT

Kathy Davis has been working with Learning Disabled students since 1983, in Texas and Arizona, after graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Education (fields of study Special Education and Art). Since 2001, she has been in private practice as a Certified Academic Language Therapist providing individual dyslexia therapy, primarily at a private school in the Dallas area. In 2014, she completed her master's degree as an Educational Diagnostician, continuing dyslexia therapy along with testing.

Her experience ranges from upper school to lower school LD students both in public and private school settings from 1983-1993. Mrs. Davis began concentrating more on dyslexia therapy after completing her hours in 1996, then became certified in 1999. She has maintained membership along with required hours in ALTA (Academic Language Therapy Association) since that time.

Mrs. Davis obtained her Master’s Degree in Education from Texas Women’s University in 2014 and has conducted private LD testing since then, working with Dr. Hill as a mentor. She is delighted to work more closely with Dr. Hill testing, consulting and conferencing with the parents of these wonderful students.

Katie VandenBerge Crim, M.S., CCC-SLP

Katie Crim is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in the same field from Baylor University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and has been licensed to practice in Texas since 2019. Katie specializes in working with children ages 3–14 and brings years of public school experience to her private practice, offering personalized support for a wide range of speech and language needs.
